Facilities
YMCA Camp Pinewood is nestled in the heart of the Manistee National Forest near Muskegon, Michigan. It’s convenient, but remote enough to ensure that everyone enjoys the natural beauty of the camp’s 200-acre facility.
Buildings are located on the edge of spring fed Lake Echo, with its natural sand beach and dock area. Trails encircle the lake, winding through the pine and hardwood forest. The camp is also within easy reach of several area rivers (as well as Lake Michigan) making it the perfect jumping-off point for overnight canoe, kayak, and backpacking trips.
In addition to all the facilities listed on the activities page – like the ropes course – the camp’s buildings include:
• Adreani Lodge – sleeping for 32 and meeting space
• Butler Lodge – dining hall and meeting space
• Niles Lodge – meeting space
• Cabins -- 16 winterized cabins each sleeping 12
• Central washrooms – for men and woman

Each cabin sleeps up to 12 people, and is near a fully modernized bathhouse.
